Printable Coupons

If you notice, there is a new "widget" on the site.  In the upper right hand corner is a little blue box that you can print coupons from coupons.com.  Printable coupons are one of the best ways to save big money at the grocery store.  With that being said, there are even frugal ways to print coupons!

  • Print in black and white, you need to set your default on your computer to do this.  Most printable coupons will print automatically without the prompt to say how many pages, etc.
  • Print on scrap paper.  The stores will take coupons that have printing on the opposite side.
  • You can print two copies of most printable coupons.  If it is a coupon that not part of a coupon site, you can print one and then slowly hit the back button on your web browser to print another.  If  you are on another site, such as coupons.com, you print the coupons that you would use (try to do in batches of three to save paper).  You can then click "go back to the coupons" and print most of them another time.  Often the ones you just printed are at the end of the selections.
  • You want to have your printer on and ready when you go to print these, because the sites do not give you a second (well, really a third) chance to reprint.
So, these are the frugal tips for coupon printing.  FYI, right now, scroll through the coupons.com button on this site to find a $.50 off KC Masterpiece barbeque sauce coupon.  If you take it to Kroger for triple coupons, you can get some free or almost free BBQ sauce!  NOTE:  This offer is no longer available, sorry!  Hopefully it will soon be warm enough in Fort Wayne to start grilling!
