- Half Price Books: Feed Your Brain Summer Reading Program
- Starting June 1, through July 31, kids 14 and under can earn Back-to-School Bucks (in the form of a $5 gift card) by reading at least 600 minutes throughout the specified time period. That is just 15 minutes a day. The reader who passed along this tip said that the store has a clearance area with $1 books, so you could potentially score five free books! For more info, go here. NOTE: You do need to download the log or pick up one from the store for documentation purposes.
- Barnes and Noble: 2011 Barnes and Noble Summer Reading Program
- Read any eight children's books and record them in the reading journal (download here). Then, turn in the journal to claim your free book at any Barnes and Noble. This program runs from May 24 through September 6, 2011. It is open to Grade 6 and younger. For more info, go here.
- ACPL: Allen County Public Library.
- Here is a link to a post done last week about the Allen County Public Library's Summer Reading Program.
- If any other readers have any other suggestions, we would love to hear them!
