Free/Reduced Lunch and Textbook Assistance Deadline Approaching

Applications for free or reduced lunch and textbook assistance need to be returned before Wednesday, August 10 in order to be processed in time for FWCS's first day of school (August 23).  Applications are available online at ftwayne.schoollunchapp.com. 

Here are the income guidelines that need to be met to qualify: 

• Family of two:  $27, 214
• Family of three:  $34, 281
• Family of four:  $41, 348
• Family of five:  $48, 415
• Family of six:  $55, 482
• Family of seven:  $62, 549
• Family of eight:  $69, 616
• For each additional family member, add $7, 067

If you find your family is eligible, you are not alone.  Last year nearly seventy percent of FWCS students received assistance of some sort.  If your application is not in by the August 10 deadline, it will still be accepted.  Processing just won't be completed before the first day of school.
