Great Deals to be Found by Ad Matching at Walmart

I know we have talked about Walmart's new ad-matching policy, but I wanted to reiterate that they will ad match produce, meat and even plant prices from Aldi and other stores. I just got off of the phone with a Walmart associate who told me that, "as long as it has a price on it, we will ad match it."  Meaning, they won't do for example, 20% off or 1/2 off ad matching. 

It has been my experience that the Aldi ad can be somewhat elusive.  Sometimes it is in the newspaper delivery that non-subscribers get.  Even that avenue isn't always reliable, though, because it didn't come in this week's drop off.  Fear not, though.  That same friendly Walmart associate told me that Walmart will accept Aldi's ad that has been printed from online!

This can be a great savings tool.  Grapes are $.99/lb. this week.  I would not consider this week's sales amongst their best showing, so if you don't find something that interests you, check back next week.  Last week I got mums from Walmart that I ad matched from Aldi for $2.99!
