Downtown Improvement District's Fright Night October 22

There are so many fun (free) things going on next weekend in Fort Wayne.  The Downtown Improvement District is hosting the Fright Night 2011 on Saturday, October 22. 

Many of the events associated with this night do cost, but there are some that are free.  Here are a few of the free highlights: 

  • Zombie Machine at the Library Plaza
    • 2:30 to 5:30 pm
    • Free Face Painting by TAG Art
    • Belly Dancers and Theatrical Performances
    • Make your own ghost snot with Science Central (Fun, Fun)
  • Zombie Walk
    • 5:30 to 6:00 pm
  • Tin Caps/Parkview Field
    • Live Music and Kids Scavenger Hunt
    • 6 to 9 pm
    • Free Admission
  • Allen County Public Library
    • 6:30 to 8:00 pm
    • Free movie, the Corpse Bride in the Library's lower level theatre.
  • Shrine Temple
    • Ghost Hunting
    • 7 to 11pm, every 15 minutes
    • Free
  • Cinema Center
    • Braineaters' Ball
    • Free Admission
    • music and dancing
    • macabre art gallery
    • free popcorn
  • You can see the entire schedule of events (including the things you have to pay for) here.  Most of the things are reasonably priced.  What a fun frugal date night.
