The Fort Wayne Parks and Rec is offering several free offerings that will take place on Thursday, December 1.  Here is the list:

• Enjoy a free lunch while we share information about current and future healthcare issues.  Thursday's topic:  Celebrating Christmas.  
• Call 427-6460 by the end of November 28 (today) to reserve your spot.
• Senior Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP)
• A trained SHIP counselor will be present to answer questions about Medicare, Medicaid and Medicare Supplement Insurance.  
• Assistance is also available in organizing your medical bills and filing claims and appeals.  Call 424-6460 to schedule your appointment.  
• Appointment times available from 9am to 12pm on Thursday, December 1.
• Diabetic Screening
• Foster Park Lions Club will offer free diabetes screenings at The Community Center on Thursday, December 1 from 9am to 11am. 
• No appointment is needed.
