Vinegar: So Many Uses, The Bathroom Cleaning Version

This week's vinegar installment has to do with cleaning the bathrooms.
  • The Super Bowl:  Vinegar will remove the unsightly ring in the toilet.  Pour in one cup of diluted vinegar white vinegar.  Let it stand for five minutes.  Flush.  Mission Accomplished.
  • Scattered Showers:  To remove lime deposit corrosion from the showerhead, soak it in a container filled with full-strength white vinegar overnight and replace.
  • Tub and Tile:  To remove bathtub and tile film, simply wipe the surface with vinegar and rinse with water.
  • Curtains:  Use full-strength vinegar to wipe away soapy film, mildew and grimy buildup from your shower curtains.  Or, simply place your shower and bath curtains in the washing machine along with a bath towel.  Add one cup of white vinegar during the rinse cycle.  Dry on low for three minutes.
