Vinegar: So Many Uses, the Cleaning Version

Sweet Smell of Success:  Have unpleasant odors in the kitchen?  Boil a tablespoon of white vinegar in a cup of water to eliminate those unpleasant cooking smells.  If you have been cutting onions and have lingering smells on your hands, rub some white vinegar on your hands to remove the aroma.  Lastly, to absorb stale, smoky odors, a bowl of vinegar placed in an out-of-the-way corner of any room works wonders.

Clean as a Whistle:  Don't feel like scrubbing the inside of pots after a meal?  Soak the insides of food-stained pots and pans in full strength white vinegar for 30 minutes.  Then, rinse in hot, soapy water.

Dispose Properly:  Make vinegar ice cubes to keep your garbage disposal clean and fresh smelling.  Mix one cup vinegar in enough water to fill an ice cube tray, freeze the mixture, then grind the cubes through the disposal. Flush with cold water.

What clever ideas!
