The following came via email from Santa's marketing team themselves:

Santa arrives at Macy’s Glenbrook on his tour bus

WHO/WHAT: Santa’s Public Appearance at Macy’s Glenbrook on Coldwater Road – Dec. 8 at 6:00p.m.

Giving the reindeer time off for good behavior, Santa will arrive with a police escort in his shiny red tour bus and be greeted by a local high school marching band. Santa welcomes one-and-all to join in the festivities as he reads The Night Before Christmas, visits with children of all ages and encourages everyone to put their letters to Santa in the Macy’s Believe mailbox.  Children will also enjoy face-painting and balloon-twisting while they wait to speak with Santa.

MORE:  As it has for the past three years, Macy’s “Believe” campaign invites children to mail letters to Santa using Macy’s Santa Mail Letterboxes. Macy’s donates $1 for each letter mailed in store, up to $1 million, to the Make-A-Wish Foundation®.  Visit www.macy.com/believe to track Santa on his journey across the U.S.!

Launching his national tour in 2009 as part of Macy’s popular “Believe” campaign, Santa’s national tour will once again take him on a whirlwind trip to visit 26 cities in 26 days across America. Motoring from New York City (where he will have just finished Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade!), Santa’s tour startson November 26 in Bangor, ME and concludes on December 21 in Nashville, TN. Along the way, Macy’s Santa tour will give children from coast-to-coast the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet the man himself!
