Aldi has some rock bottom prices on produce. For example, $.49 baby carrots (1lb. bag), $.99/pint grapet tomatoes, $.99 fresh pineapple, $.99 4lb. bag of oranges. My mom made the comment that shopping with those prices is like shopping twenty years ago.
Now, if you live on the NE side of FW and don't have an Aldi nearby, don't forget that your local Walmart will ad-match these deals. You just have to have the Aldi ad for this week. Mine usually comes in the mail on Wed. or Thurs. If you don't get one, you can always go to their website and print it out and take it into the store. Their sales run Wed. through Thurs., just like Kroger's do.
Oh, one last thing... The 16'' deli pizzas are on sale for $4.99 (for cheese), Walmart will ad-match these as well!!! These are regularly priced at $6.98, so that is nearly a $2.00 savings. They freeze just fine, in case you were wondering.
