To all my frugal friends, I have bad grocery news for you. Kroger is no longer tripling coupons. A faithful reader, Jill, left us a message. I couldn't believe it until I heard it with my own ears. After a quick phone call, the bad news was verified. Kroger is now only doubling, not tripling, coupons up to $0.50 face-value. The associate said all other details of the coupon policy remain the same.
For what it is worth, I sent Kroger a quick comment expressing my disappointment over this policy change. I was polite and respectful, but I wanted to let them know I was unhappy with this change and encourage them to reinstate triple coupons.
