Frugal Quick Tip: Use 'Children's' Instead of 'Infant's' Medicine

Next time you have to get your kids medicine, take a minute to check the label and prices.  I was at Meijer getting more acetaminophen for my 10 month old, and I realized that the infant and children's concentration was the same:  160 mg acetaminophen per 5 ml.  The price for the infant medicine was $3.49 for 1 ounce, and the children's was $3.99 for 4 ounces!  So, I simply asked the pharmacist to figure out the dose for a 20 lb child.
