Free prostate screenings at Parkview Field Aug. 6-7

Are you over 40? Then it’s time to start managing your prostate health. Parkview Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Fort Wayne TinCaps are teaming up to give you a great opportunity: a FREE PSA screening at Parkview Field on August 6 and 7.

Other screenings include: blood pressure check, glucose check, height, weight, bone density, body fat composition and strength testing. The DaVinci Robot will be on display as well as the opportunity for you to meet the Parkview Physicians Group urologists and other physicians who use the DaVinci Robot in their practice.

Date: Tuesday, August 6
Time: 6 – 9 p.m.
Who: Men over 40 who attend the TinCaps game

Date: Wednesday, August 7
Time: 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Who: Men over 40 who visit Parkview Field (Enter through the gate by the parking garage)

All testing is held in the Lincoln Conference Center at Parkview Field.

The PSA screening measures the level of prostate-specific antigen (PSA) in the blood. Elevated levels can indicate prostate cancer or other serious health issues. The test requires only a quick blood draw, which will be administered by a Parkview Health Laboratories phlebotomist. Confidential results will be sent to you.

Time slots are limited; while walk-ins may be accepted, reservations are highly recommended. Reserve your time slot by calling (260) 266-9180 by August 5.

Don’t miss this opportunity! Bring along your son, father, brother or buddy. This is a community event and is open to everyone.
