Easy Crock Pot Dinner

You are looking at a picture of my favorite kitchen appliance...aside from my coffee maker. :)

This is what we are having for dinner tonight.  Maybe you need an idea too?  It's easy and cheap.  You probably have the stuff around the house.

Supper in a Dish (Crock Pot)
1 lb ground beef, browned and drained
1 1/2 cups sliced raw potatoes
1 cup sliced carrots
1 cup peas (i skipped the peas)
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup chopped green peppers
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
10 3/4 oz can cream of chicken or mushroom soup
1/4 cup milk
2/3 cup grated sharp cheese

1. Layer ground beef, potatoes, carrots, peas, onions, celery, green peppers, salt, and pepper in slow cooker.
2. Combine soup and milk. Pour over layered ingredients. Sprinkle with cheese.
3. Cover. Cook on high 4 hours.

I substituted ground turkey for ground beef, because it is only $1.50/lb on sale this week at Meijer.
