Free in Fort Wayne

I don’t know about you, but the warm weather that we had a few weeks ago has me wishing for spring.  My young children are also tired of the same indoor games.  Truth is, there is nearly another month of winter.  Here are four FREE things that you might try with your toddlers and school age kids to beat the winter blahs.
·         Toddler Tuesdays - This is an on-going event held at Jefferson Pointe Shopping Center every Tuesday at 11 am.  You can go to their website here to see a complete listing of what is planned for the month of March.
·         Also at Jefferson Pointe Shopping Center is a Midnight Launch Party at the Game Stop store.  Doors open at 10 pm.
·         Lowes offers a clinic for kids called Lowes Build and Grow.  You must pre-register.   You can go here to do that.  Upcoming events include a shoot around basketball game on March 12, 2011 and a fortune teller game (sort of a wooden magic 8 ball from what I can tell) on March 26.  Build and Grow events take place at 10 am.
·         Home Depot also offers kids clinics.  Theirs are presented the first Saturday of every month from 9 am to noon.  This Saturday, March 5, 2011 involves making a Home Depot race car.  You can go here for more information.
Think Spring!
