As a part of National Consumer Protection Week, The U.S. Postal Service is offering a 'Shred It Day.' Customers are invited to bring up to three file-container-sized boxes of documents for free shredding. 'Shred It Day' will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 10 at the main Fort Wayne post office on South Clinton.
This is GREAT information! I have at least that much that needs to be shredded. Unfortunately, I have to work that day. Hopefully they'll do this again.
ReplyDeleteDo you know whether there will be any more of these offers, i have just bought a house with what looking like years of newpapers and spam mail.
ReplyDeletePeter: I do not know for sure, but my guess is probably not until next year. Could the newspapers be recycled? If you have to paint, you could lay them out to protect the floor then throw them away when you are done?
