- Black Baseball in Indiana: Documentary featuring archival photographs and video footage, plus interviews with historians and players, Fort Wayne Museum of Art at 6 p.m. Free.
- Middlebury Fall Festival: Farmers market, local artisans and crafters, homemade foods and contests, entertainment, classic car cruise-in and antique tractor display in downtown Middlebury.

- 4th Annual Canoe Clean Up: Spend a fun day with family and friends on the river cleaning up and educating yourself. For free canoe rental bring ID to Fort Wayne Outfitters Bike Depot.
- Fall Harvest Days: Seasonal decorations, a harvest market and seasonal demonstrations at Amish Acres, Nappanee, daily, Sept. 17- Oct. 31. Free.
- Harvest Fest: A festival set during the early 20th century in Albion.
- Johnny Appleseed Festival: A celebration of the pioneer spirit of Johnny Appleseed with demonstrations, music and food at Johnny Appleseed Park.
- Outside Showcase: Dancing at American Style Ballroom, free.

- Hispanic Heritage Panel Discussion: Panelists will share the experiences that led them to become involved in community affairs and discuss the development of cross-cultural alliances in Walb Union Ballroom, IPFW at 1:15 p.m. Free, 481-6847.
