  • Horse Drawn Wagon RidesRide around downtown Angola 5-8pm.
  • Polar Express Storytime:  A free, special Polar Express party with a reading of the holiday classic, hot chocolate and cookies at 7pm. Children are encouraged to wear their pajamas at Barnes & Noble, 432-3343.
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 10
  • Cooking Demo:  At Three Rivers Co-op Fort Wayne free seminars:  holiday stress relief foods, herbs and supplements 1p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10; gluten free holiday cookies 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17; spinach artichoke puffs 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 26.
  • Panel Discussions on Political Participation Strategies:  An opportunity for the community to learn effective political participation strategies in the Liberal Arts Building, Room 159 at  IPFW at 1:30 pm.  Free.
  • Stories with Santa:  Hear a story, receive a special small gift and take pictures with Santa at the Huntington City-Township Public Library at 10 a.m. 356-2900

  • Holiday Nails Workshop:  Girls in grades 6-12 learn tips for proper nail care and how to do a holiday manicure at the Huntington City-Township Public Library at 6:30 p.m. 356-2900

  • Snowmen at Christmas:  A special story time, snowman finger plays, songs and games, a snowman dance and craft, a mini-booklet of coloring and activities to take home and a special treat for age 4-8 at the main library in Huntington 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13 and 4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, free, 356-2900.
