Swagbucks is a great way for you to earn free stuff while you are searching the Internet. I signed up for Swagbucks about a year and a half ago and have been so pleased with the results.
Here's the deal, first go here to sign up for an account. Then, you can learn about all of the ways to earn points. You can accumulate points many ways, but a few of my favorites are by searching the Internet, watching short videos (I just keep them running in the background as I am doing things.), and taking surveys.
You can cash the points in for free stuff, including gift cards. A lot of the gift cards are online places, but there are some well-known retailers like Amazon, CVS, and Starbucks that offer their cards. This process is very similar to that of redeeming your credit card rewards.
As I mentioned earlier, I signed up about a year ago and have probably gotten about $75 in Amazon.com gift cards just by my searching. I downloaded the very small toolbar and use that to search for everything, just like you would for another search engine such as Google. I have been saving my points/cards up to use for Christmas shopping.
It is really worth checking it out. I learned about it on another money-saving site and was skeptical, but I am really glad that I did sign up. Happy searching!
