The ACPL is offering a safety education called r.a.d. KIDS. This acronym stands for resist aggression defensively. On Wednesdays through November 21 from 2 to 3pm, kids (ages 5 to 12) and their parents can learn ways to avoid abduction, home and internet safety and good and bad touch.
This is free, but pre-registration is required. I am guessing this is more of a home school event, given that it takes place during the school day. Go here to sign up if you are interested.
