From the WANE 15 website, this is what is going over the next month in the Fort to show support:
January 31:
In support of National Wear Red Day, the MLK Bridge in downtown Fort Wayne will turn red at 5p.m. All are welcome to see it. People can gather on the East side of South Clinton at Lawton Park, starting at 4:30p.m.
Friday, February 1:
From 11a.m. to 5p.m. the American Heart Association will provide red dress pins and educational materials in front of Macy's at Glenbrook Square Mall. Parkview Community Nursing will offer health screenings. Participants are encouraged to wear red.
Monday, February 4:
A local restaurant will donate 15% of total bills beginning February 4 to the American Heart Association Go Red for Women campaign. Click to download the flyer. Present flyer to server on February 4, 2013.
Wednesday, February 13:
A Pinot & Prevention Party is planned, beginning at 5:30p.m. at McMillen Center for Health Education, 600 Jim Kelley Blvd. Tickets are $20, and reservations are requested. To RSVP and for more information call 260-485-9890.
