Frugal Quick Tip: DIY Taco Shells



Make your own, low-fat taco shells at home!  Gently hang flour tortillas over your oven rack.  Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes, or until hardened.  Be sure to use tongs to carefully remove your shells.  They will be hot (along with your oven rack)!

Another useful taco-tip:  Line your taco shells with a lettuce leaf to keep all of the good stuff inside the taco when the shell inevitably breaks!
