Christine emailed in the following tip:
This Friday, September 6th, we are joining forces with the Indiana State Police and Iron Mountain for a FREE Shred Day. A mobile shredder will be provided in the rear parking lot of the 3 Rivers Northland Campus from 11:00am-2:00pm.
With identity theft on the rise, we have invited members and non-members to bring any unwanted papers and credit cards to be securely destroyed free of charge. Shredding is a quick and easy way to dispose of personal and financial information to prevent identity theft.
This is a drive up service where documents get carted directly to Iron Mountain’s shredding truck for immediate destruction. All documents are shredded on site and recycled. Last year Shred Day produced 4300 pounds of documents that were shredded and recycled.
