Gluten Free On A Budget...Is it Possible?

Recently we have switched my husband and one of the kids to a gluten-free diet.  I had no idea how expensive gluten-free items (that regularly contain gluten) are!  I have been trying to just make things that naturally don't contain gluten, but for special treats, I wanted to be able to have some sort of flour to work with.
