Fort Wayne Holiday Lighting Go to Guide

Fort Wayne's Annual Night of Lights will take place on Wednesday, November 27.  This is when the lighting of all of Fort Wayne's downtown lights takes place.  It is really a great thing to witness, so if you haven't gone, I highly recommend it.

This year's lighting marks the 13th Anniversary of 'The Proposal' for our household.  Thirteen years ago on this night, my husband proposed to me in front of the tree downtown.  Since then, attending this event has been a family tradition.  Our kids have been hauled down there in rain, sleet and snow.  Some years we don't even get out of the car, but we are there!

Here are the highlights and times of this year's festivities:

  • 5:45 - Aunt Millie's Northern Lights
  • 6:00 - Community Center and History Center Lighting
  • 6:15 - Santa and his Reindeer at PNC on Main Street
  • 6:45 - Wells Fargo and Indiana Michigan Power Holiday displays (tree and wreath)
  • 7:15 - Botanical Conservatory and Embassy Animated Holiday Windows
  • 7:45 - Parkview Field fireworks
