You may be eligible for a refund from the BMV due to a class action lawsuit. Here's what the website says:
On November 12, 2013 the Court approved the Settlement in the class action lawsuit regarding fee overcharges for a driver’s license issued by the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) entitled Raab v. Waddell and Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles, in Marion County Superior Court, Civil Division, Room No. 12, Cause No. 49D12-1303-PL-008769.
Class members will automatically receive their Refunds in the form of a credit the next time they participate in a financial transaction with the BMV. Class members who have not already obtained their Refund in the form of a credit may obtain Refunds in the form of a check mailed by the BMV by completing the information on this website prior to December 15, 2016.
