• TinCaps Open House:  Take guided tours and enjoy inexpensive food at Parkview Stadium from 11 am to 1 pm.

• IPFW WorldFest:  Enjoy free dance and cooking classes along with a poetry recitation and contest. 

SATURDAY, APRIL 9

• Local Shutterbug 2011 Show and Sale:  Check out local amateur photographers in the annual photography show and sale.  Free admission.

 WEDNESDAY, APRIL 13

• Vera Bradley Outlet Sale:  Allen County War Memorial Coliseum, Fort Wayne.  Expo Center.  Two ticketed days followed by three public days. 

APRIL 12-16 and 27-30

• Focus On Health:  Free and low cost health checks and screenings, Fort Wayne.  Various sites and hours.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 27

• Omnibus Lecture Series:  IPFW, "Activism:  Then and Now".  Free tickets required.

SATURDAY and SUNDAY, APRIL 30 and MAY 1 

• SolFest:  At Fox Island, enjoy local music, beer garden, kids' area, hayrides and food.  Admission $5, but children 11 and under are free.  Noon to 8pm.

FRIDAY, MAY 20

• Fiber Arts Celebration:  Soloman Farm Park, Fort Wayne.  The focus of the festival is education through hands-on participation and demonstrations of the processes of making natural fiber products:  wool dyeing, spinning, weaving and more.  Free admission and free parking.

• Georgetown Bowl Farmers Market:  Tuesdays from noon – 7pm enjoy a farmers market inside Georgetown Bowl to find handmade crafts, jewelry and baked goods.  Special activities for children are featured each month.
• Toddler Tuesdays:  Enjoy a free event every Tuesday at 11 am at Jeffersone Pointe for your tots ages 2-5.
