On Friday and Saturday, May 20 and 21, from 10 am to 5 pm Salomon Farms will be having their Fiber Arts Celebration. The focus of the festival is education through hands-on participation and demonstrations of the processes of making natural fiber products: wool dyeing, spinning, weaving and more. Enjoy free hayrides pulled by antique tractors. Free admission and free parking.
We've been to quite a few of these events at Salomon Farms. They are quick, simple events that don't require much time. You just go, check it out, go on a hayride and leave. You feel like you've done something different and fun with the kids, but it doesn't take up your whole day.
