THURSDAY, MAY 19
  • Gamers Unplugged:  A board game club for kids (electricity not included), at the Allen County Public Library-Main Branch at 7 p.m.
  • Go Wild, Go Birdiing:  A bird-watching hike, followed by a talk by John Schaust, chief naturalist for Wild Birds Unlimited, at the Gene Stratton-Porter State Historic Site in Rome City from 2-5 p.m. Call 854-3790 for details.
FRIDAY, MAY 20
  • Fiber Arts Celebration:Soloman Farm Park, Fort Wayne.The focus of the festival is education through hands-on participation and demonstrations of the processes of making natural fiber products:wool dyeing, spinning, weaving and more. Free admission and free parking.
SATURDAY, MAY 21

  • Great American Cleanup in Downtown: Associations, businesses, faith-based organizations and individuals needed to participate in the Great American Cleanup of downtown Fort Wayne.
TUESDAY, MAY 24 
  • PeeWee's Big Adventure Movie Night:  Enjoy a free movie in the theater at the Allen County Public Main Library.  Limited seating.  First come first served.  Doors open at 6 pm and movie starts at 6:30 pm.

 SATURDAY, JUNE 14
  • Young Eagles Flight Rally: Free airplane rides for kids ages 8-17 (parent or legal guardian must be present) at Smith Field Airport, 490-8614.
