SATURDAY, MAY 14 and SUNDAY, MAY 15 
  • Cherry Blossom Festival:  A celebration of Japanese culture, art, food and more, including music and dance demonstrations and screenings of anime films, at Allen County Public Library-Main Branch from 6-9 p.m. Saturday, May 14 and 12-6 p.m. Sunday, May 15.  Most events are free.
  • Muster on the Mary:  Historic reenactments and demonstrations, at the Old Fort, Fort Wayne, 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday, May 14 & 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, May 15Freewill donation, 437-2836.
SATURDAY, MAY 14
  • Young Eagles Flight Rally: Free airplane rides for kids ages 8-17 (parent or legal guardian must be present) at Smith Field Airport, 490-8614.
  • Go Wild, Go Birdiing — A bird-watching hike, followed by a talk by John Schaust, chief naturalist for Wild Birds Unlimited, at the Gene Stratton-Porter State Historic Site in Rome City from 2-5 p.m. , 854-3790.

FRIDAY, MAY 20
  • Fiber Arts Celebration:Soloman Farm Park, Fort Wayne.The focus of the festival is education through hands-on participation and demonstrations of the processes of making natural fiber products:wool dyeing, spinning, weaving and more.Free admission and free parking.
SATURDAY, MAY 21
