Holiday Children’s Gently Used Book Swap & Sale
December 18-19, 8:30 am -7:00 pm
December 20, 8:30 am -12:30 pm
Community Center, 233 W. Main St.
Fort Wayne, Ind. –The Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Community Center and the Anthony Wayne Lions Club are joining forces to offer this special children’s used book sale and swap. Used books for toddlers through teenagers will be available for swapping or purchase. Your child may swap up to 5 books per day or purchase an unlimited amount of books. Along with the swap and sale, the Anthony Wayne Lions Club is offering a FREE book and bookmark to each child who participates. (Kids must be present to swap books and qualify for the FREE book.)
The following special entertainment will also be featured during this Holiday Sale:
10:30 am--Storytelling/Read aloud, coordinating craft and snack
3:30-6:30 pm--Solve the clues to find the missing objects
We are now accepting donations of gently used or new books for this event. Books may be dropped off at the Community Center any time between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm. If you have a large quantity of books we will gladly pick them up. Call 427-6467 for more information or to arrange a pick-up.
